SEED-FD Launches New Facebook Channel – Follow Us Now

As we enter the second half of the SEED-FD project, we are excited to launch our new Facebook channel. This move marks a shift in focus: we are now reaching out to a broader audience, including users of flood and drought early warning systems, policymakers, NGOs and humanitarian organisations, industry and SME stakeholders, media and the general public. Follow us to stay informed, discover stories, and join the global conversation on flood and drought forecasting and resilience.

New SEED-FD Facebook Channel Announcement

SEED-FD is on a mission to improve flood and drought forecasting worldwide. Building on the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS), our project integrates satellite-based Earth observation with data from innovative local micro-sensors to improve the accuracy and reliability of early warning systems. These improved forecasts support faster responses, protecting critical resources, and help vulnerable communities adapt to the challenges of a changing climate.

With our new Facebook channel, we are opening the door for more people to discover how SEED-FD is making a difference. Whether you are a user of early warning systems, part of a HydroMet service or regional authority, a policymaker, part of an NGO or humanitarian organisation, a stakeholder from industry or an SME, a journalist, or simply an interested member of the public, our posts are made for you. Expect real-world insights, updates from our global use case regions, and stories that show how better forecasts can save lives and livelihoods, and support sustainable development.

Explore the new SEED-FD Facebook channel. Follow, share, and stay connected. Together, we can make sure that timely, reliable flood and drought warnings are available to everyone, everywhere.
